I'm reading Mindy Kaling's new book right now and I am LOVING it :)
too funny, I just browsed through that book last night at Chapters... (thought of my ben)! Sounds like you, me (and Caren makes 3) all want to be more bookish this new year.. maybe we should start a crafting.tea sipping.thrifting.book club!xoMel ;o)
we are on the same wavelength! I just blogged about wanting to take the time to read; I miss getting lost in the pages of a book.I also want to read squirrel seeks chipmunk (the cover makes me swoon!).p.s. I want to hang out in a hammock like your stitched girl is. *dreamy look*
I know exactly how you feel - in 2010 I read over 100 books, and this year I barely managed half of that! Wishing you the best of luck, and if you ever need book recommendations I'd love to share! ^^
Sooooo cute. I love lounging in a comfy hammock during the summer with a great book. You are so, so talented! I'll be adding you to my must-readsxo Samwww.charliestella.blogspot.com
Great book to start with!
Reading in a hammock is one of my favorite things to do!
Ohh I absolutely love this one.
Oh, I love me some Sedaris!! That book is on my to read list for 2012.
Great Choice! David Sedaris is absolutely lovely. His dry wit and sarcasm are unmatched.I especially love the collaboration with illustrator Ian Falconer. Looking forward to seeing some Sedaris inspired embroidery :)You might also enjoy "Holidays on Ice"Melanie
