day 219 I Love Myself a Funny Boy
Kenneth Parcell: I don't drink coffee, sir, I don't drink hot liquids of any kind. That's the devil's temperature.

Day 172 (I've got the Music in Me)
Anyone coming to my house will sometime be subject to our dance parties. We all get down and show our new moves we have been working on.
Someone will mention they want to hear a certain song.
That song will be played
... and the dance party begins.

Day 171 (I've Got the Music in Me Week)
My father was a huge music fan. He introduced me to Lou Reed, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones... to many to mention.
His Vinyl collection was very precious to him. He didn't like us playing his records if he wasn't around. His one big No No was that you never drop a needle to play one song. You play the album all the way through.
Beautiful model is the lovely A Girl Named Astrid.

Day 169 (I've Got the Music in Me Week)
Best music ever is the one you play when you are getting ready to go out on a Friday night....
(These days though, I am a fan of the Friday-night-staying-in-embroidering-soundtrack...if you are too the pattern is available in shop!)

Day 168 (I've Got the Music in Me Week)
So that wasn't the end. My father decided to hire someone to come to our "smoke free" home to help me with my strumming.
I remember her looking a little like Tammy Faye Baker and making off with the family coin collection.
I do not remember however, any chords she taught me.
Don't know a way to segue this....but the pattern is available in the shop.

Day 167 (I've Got the Music in Me Week) Pattern available in shop!
I love music. But unfortunately I am not musically inclined. I have tried various instruments but with no success.
My first guitar teacher liked to smoke his sweetly scented hand rolled cigarettes during our lesson. I didn't mind but my father did not think this was appropriate ( might have had something to be with me being 10 years old at the time). I never learned the guitar from this boy but always quite relaxed and a bit giddy after my lessons.
I am so excited to offer the pattern for sale in the shop today!
Thank you once again to my friend and muse, the lovely (A Girl Named) Astrid for for posing for this weeks theme!
